Tubular slidesheets

Tubular slidesheets

Features & Benefits

The tubular slide sheet from Karomed is produced from silicone coated nylon fabric with anti-bacterial finish, on both sides, to provide long lasting low friction required for safe patient handling. The fabric is sewn into a continuous tube providing strength, durability and efficient repositioning. Tubular slide sheets are not designed for lifting.

About

Tubular slide sheets from Karomed are stitched in a continuous loop with the long ends open. The surface of each side is of very low friction allowing the carer to reposition the patient safely be sliding up and down or laterally in their bed. Th tubular slide sheet must be used in conjunction with Patient Moving and Handling Guidelines. Please inspect before use for signs of wear and tear. Do not leave on the floor for health and safety and hygiene reasons. Use this sheet for sliding only not lifting.
