The Transvisco is a static
mattress manufactured from visco elastic foam – significantly
reducing interfacing pressures. No turn, no rotate –
suitable for higher weight patients, whilst reducing manual
handling for nursing staff
- Suitable for use with High Risk patients
- Visco foam offers a slower hysterisis effect when compared
to other foams, significantly reducing interface pressures
without restricting patient movement.

- Firmed foam edge for patient stability during transfer
to and from bed
- Polyurethane coated, multi-stretch, waterproof and vapour
permeable cover
- Cover may be machine washed to 70°C and tumble dried
- Option of welded seams
- Integrally hinged, for use on profiling beds
- Double skin cover for hydrolysis resistance
- 6 year warranty on foam and cover
- Approximate patient weight limit of up to 30 stones, dependent
on patient height and weight distribution
