A specialist designed
ramped angle chair which combines effective pressure care
and good posture.
Similar to the Winchester Chair, but has a greater “tilt”
on the backrest.
The chair design and functionality is suited to both the
acute and community environment. The Retainer chair is designed
to be used as a seating solution for patients with poor muscular
control or lack of seating balance. Used with the correct
patients this chair can be used on an acute ward or dayroom
within the community.
Recommended use for the Retainer chair includes ward and
bedside, dayrooms and lounges and special needs.
The integral pressure reducing cushions assist in preventing
pressure damage. The level of pressure reduction provided
depends on the integral cushion selected.
