.Comm mattress
The key issues to be addressed by any bed/mattress package are
moving and handling, pressure care and patient independence. The
.comm package offers a complete solution, with a range of three
mattresses, designed specifically to fit the .comm wooden profiling
bed.

with the .comm wooden profiling bed.
1 .comm mattress
Proven Transfoam construction in a new “no turn”
format which, when used in conjunction with the .comm profiling
bed produces superior pressure relief when compared to standard
mattress/bed combinations. For use with the .comm profiling
bed
- Manufactured using moulded foam to provide a high degree
of comfort and support.
- Firmed foam edge for patient stability during transfer
to and from bed.
- Integrally hinged for use with profiling beds.
- Polyurethane coated, multi-stretch, waterproof and vapour
permeable cover.
- Cover may be machine washed to 70°C and tumble dried.
Suitable for low to medium risk patients.

2 .comm mattress
Proven Transfoam construction in a new “no turn”
format and incorporating a visco elastic memory mid section
which increases the body support area. For use with the .comm
profiling bed
- When compared with other foams, Visco foam has a slower
hysterisis effect significantly reducing interface pressure
without restricting patient movement.
- Integrally hinged for use with profiling beds
- Firmed foam edge for patient stability during transfer
to and from bed.
- Polyurethane coated, multi-stretch, waterproof and vapour
permeable cover.
- Cover may be machine washed to 70°C and tumble dried.
Suitable for medium to high risk patients.

3 .comm mattress
A full mattress replacement system using alternating air
cells and incorporating proven Foam Air Technology. The use
of a profiling bed enhances the mattress, allowing the 3.comm
to satisfy all conditions, including very high risk.
- Dynamic alternating two cell mattress provides smooth
alternating action, comfort
and support.
- Lightweight compact pump unit with lock away pump handles
for bed end mounting
or free floor standing.
- Audible and visible alarms indicate loss of pressure
or power.
- Processor checks and adjusts pump’s output every
five seconds.
